Takedown is included with every installation across Raleigh, Wake Forest and the Triangle, and removal-only visits are available for homes with lights already up.
Why Takedown Is Part of the Job, Not an Add-On
Takedown is included at no extra charge on every install we do — most Triangle homes start at $700 for the full season, design through takedown. Removal-only visits for lights another company put up are quoted after a free consultation. Most damage to a roofline happens on the way down, not on the way up: strands yanked from the ground, clips left in the gutter, a ladder against a wet January shingle. We install the lights, so we know exactly where every clip is and how each section was run. Taking them down ourselves protects the house, protects the lights, and means your display goes back up the same way next year.
How Christmas Light Removal Works in Raleigh
Scheduled in January
Takedown runs the first weeks of January, after New Year's. You get a date by text, and you do not need to be home.
Removed the way it went up
Every clip comes off shingles, gutters and trim by hand. No pulling strands, no staples left behind, no marks on the paint.
Labeled by section
Roofline, garage, trees and columns are coiled and labeled separately, so next year's install is faster and the design stays the same.
Packed and stored
Your lights, clips and timers are packed and stored for next season. Your garage stays empty and nothing gets tangled.
Removal-Only Service for Lights You Already Have Up
If you hung your own lights, or another installer put them up and is not coming back, we can take them down in January. The visit is quoted per home from the roofline length and height, the same way we quote an install. We coil and label what comes down and leave it boxed in your garage, or store it with us if you plan to book an install next season.
Removal-only slots are limited because January is also when our own customers' takedowns run, so request yours early. Request a quote and note that it is a takedown-only job.
